By the end of April 2024, Russia was in second place in terms of incoming tourist flow to Turkey with an indicator of 396,155 visits.

In total, 3,611,244 foreign tourists visited Turkey in April this year, which was 8.7% more than in the same month of 2023. The following countries are among the top five in terms of incoming tourist flow to Turkey:
- Germany: 434,863 visits (- 5.8% compared to April 2023).
- Russia: 396,155 visits (+ 4.1%).
- United Kingdom: 330,112 visits (+18%).
- Bulgaria: 282,865 visits (+ 2.9%).
- Iran: 198,878 visits (+ 31%).
These five leaders accounted for 45.5% of the total incoming tourist flow to Turkey in April.
If we talk about the distribution of the Russian tourist flow in April among the resorts of Turkey, 194,949 visits were made to the resorts of Antalya (+7.8% compared to April of the previous year). Antalya’s share in the Russian tourist flow was 49.2%.
The resorts of the Aegean coast (Bodrum, Marmaris, Dalaman) in Mugla province received 7,562 tourists from the Russian Federation, which is 18.5% less than in April 2023. The share of these resorts was 1.9%.
There is currently no data for Istanbul, but, according to analysts, an indicator of 165-170 thousand arrivals is expected (41-43% of the total tourist flow from Russia).
