
Red Wings Airline will operate direct scheduled flights to Istanbul from Nizhny Novgorod. The first flight to a major Turkish city from the capital of the Russian region will take place on June 1, 2024.
According to the latest data, the airline plans to make one flight per week (previously there was information that flights would be 2 times a week). On Saturdays, the liner will depart from Nizhny Novgorod Airport at 17:55 local time and land at the main Istanbul airport at 22:55. The return flight from the shore of the Bosphorus is scheduled for 23:50, return to the Russian airport at 04:20 in the morning. The travel time from Russia to Turkey is 5 hours, from Turkey to Russia is 4 hours and 30 minutes. On this route, passengers will be transported by modern Russian-made SSJ-100 liners.
Tickets for these flights can be purchased on the airline’s official website and from agents. The cost of a one-way flight at the most budget fare starts at about 19,000 rubles.
