Numerous photos and videos of forest fires that started on the Aegean coast of Turkey have appeared in the Turkish media and social networks.
Fires were recorded last night in the provinces of Izmir, Canakkale and Aydin, and this morning in Milas (Mugla province). More than 1,000 people, special equipment, and aviation are involved in fighting the fire.
In the Bayrakla area, Dede had to evacuate the guests of two hotels (their names are not given. – Ed.). Due to the risk of approaching flames, people were temporarily relocated to other hotels.
Today, in the afternoon, a forest fire occurred near one of the districts of Antalya – Lara.
As she told the portal TourDom.ru Maria Sheker, a travel agent living in this Turkish resort, fire helicopters quickly joined the extinguishing. The source of the fire is located at a distance from the hotels. It is hoped that the fire will be dealt with promptly and it will not reach the hotel grounds.
