Moscow and St. Petersburg topped the rating for lower housing prices

Moscow became the first in the ranking for the decrease in secondary housing prices in February

Moscow topped the ranking of major Russian cities in terms of reducing the average price of 1 sq. m. m of secondary housing in February 2024. Compared with January, the “square” in the city has fallen in price by 0.68% and now costs 327 thousand rubles, according to a study by Yandex Real Estate analysts received by the editorial office (the data includes the offer prices on the platform).

St. Petersburg took the second place with a decrease of 0.41%, to 199.7 thousand rubles per 1 sq. m. Vladivostok took the third position, where the “square” fell in price by 0.06% over the month, to 160.8 thousand rubles.

In the other 13 cities included in the study, the average price is 1 sq. m. m has grown up. The maximum rise in price for the month was recorded in Krasnodar, where, according to the results of February, the “square” costs 112.7 thousand rubles. Kazan took the second place in terms of price increase, where the price of secondary goods rose by 1.92%, to 157.2 thousand rubles per 1 sq. m, Perm took the third position, where the “square” increased in price by 1.78%, to 99.6 thousand rubles.

According to the SRG consulting company, in February 2024, prices for secondary housing decreased in five of the 50 largest cities of Russia, and their decrease in Astrakhan turned out to be the strongest — by 1.92%, to 74.6 thousand rubles per 1 sq. m.
