
TASS reports that last night in In St. Petersburg, two tourist vessels collided under the Liteyny Bridge – the high—speed motor ship Solaris and the pleasure vessel Chaika LNG.
According to preliminary information, no one was injured in the collision. There are dents on the ships. The North-Western Transport Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the circumstances of the incident.
It is clarified that earlier — on the night of May 24 — in In St. Petersburg, another incident occurred on the water: in the Neva River near the Blagoveshchensk Bridge, a ship with tourists on board collided with another vessel during a U-turn, which in turn touched the bridge supports. Fortunately, no one was injured in this accident either.
