The Turkish tourist market intends to cover losses from the reduction in the flow of tourists from Ukraine at the expense of guests from Poland. This is what the Ekonomim newspaper writes about.
According to her, the number of Polish tourists visiting Turkey has doubled in four years and exceeded 1.5 million people. At the same time, the flow of Ukrainians decreased from 2 million to 800 thousand.
“Polish tourists have become the fourth in number, especially in Antalya. It is expected that this year the number of Polish tourists who stand out for early booking will increase by at least 25%,” the newspaper notes.
Official data from the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism show that in 2023 the number of Ukrainian guests decreased by 67.21%, while the tourist flow from Poland grew by 94.15%.
Earlier, the news reported that the Seychelles asked Russia to increase the flow of tourists to the archipelago.
