Tours to some popular hotels on the Antalya coast of Turkey with departures from Moscow at the end of the first week of September can be bought cheaper than they were offered for arrivals in mid-July, at the peak of the high summer season. The correspondent was convinced of this TourDom.ru who checked the cost of weekly travel packages for two with an all-inclusive vacation and departure from the Russian capital on charter flights on September 6-8.
For example, on vacation at Belek Beach Resort 5* you can save 15-20 thousand rubles. For arrivals in mid-July, tours were offered for 245-249 thousand rubles, now they cost from 229 thousand rubles (here and below are the tariffs and availability, current as of 17:00 on August 28. – Ed.).
The benefits are especially noticeable when booking high-price hotels. Weekly tour packages at Regnum Carya Golf & Spa 5* are on sale at the beginning of September at a price of 521 thousand rubles. – accommodation in the jade room, luxury All Inclusive package. In mid-July, such a tour would have cost at least 614 thousand rubles.
The minimum prices for a seven-day vacation at Cullinan Golf Resort Belek 5* decreased from 820 thousand rubles for two at the peak of the high season to 601 thousand rubles if you go at the end of the first week of autumn.
But tours to Akka Alinda Hotel 5* (Kemer), on the contrary, have significantly increased in price: the minimum price for the dates we are considering is 355 thousand rubles, whereas in July the cost was from 232 thousand rubles. However, the explanation is obvious – at the beginning of September, only expensive family rooms are available for booking at the hotel, cheaper standards have already been sold out.
Choosing a vacation in the velvet season, tourists can often count on accommodation at a higher level for the same amount that they would have to pay in the summer for more modest options. Since September 1, the demand for trips, as a rule, decreases somewhat, as school and student holidays end, those who are not burdened with studies and who do not need to send children to classes go on tours. Accordingly, travel companies, in order to stimulate sales, sometimes have to slightly reduce prices.
