Russia and Uzbekistan has signed a joint tourism development plan until 2026.
The joint action plan in the field of tourism between Russia and Uzbekistan includes 12 blocks of measures, the implementation of which is aimed at strengthening interstate cooperation and cooperation between the tourism industry of the two countries.
For example, the organization of regular meetings and sessions between government and business tourism organizations, the holding of an industry intergovernmental subcommittee and an annual forum with the participation of regions and businesses.
“We predict that the implementation of the planned activities will allow to increase the mutual tourist flow by another 40% by 2027, bringing the number of trips closer to the level of 2 million. per year. We will strive for these indicators by consolidating marketing efforts, developing new travel routes and solving the problem of payments,” the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development quotes the Minister of the Department Maxim Reshetnikov.
It is expected that the planned events will create conditions for mutual attraction of investors and help develop cooperation between educational organizations of the two countries.
