According to TASS, with reference to the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea Sergey Ganzi, according to the current dynamics, the growth of tourist flow to the Republic will grow by about 20%.
In the first nine months of this year, the tourist flow to Crimea exceeded 5.2 million people, which is 20% higher compared to the same period in 2023. It is expected that by the end of 2024, about 6.5 million travelers will visit the Republic.
It is clarified that earlier the head of the Crimea, Sergey Aksenov, reported that over 10 years the resorts of the region have received more than 60 million tourists, hundreds of accommodation facilities have been built and modernized.
In 2023, when 5.2 million tourists visited Crimea, the figure fell by 20% compared to 2022, including due to the restriction of air traffic.
