Rossiya Airlines (Aeroflot Group of Companies) resumed flights from Moscow to Havana after the summer break. At the same time, the Russian ambassador to Cuba, Victor Coronelli, welcomed the restoration of air traffic, expressing hope that these flights will become year-round. Travelers often fly direct flights to the Varadero resort without visiting the capital. However, Havana is a very interesting city, known for its historical center, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, as well as many museums, theaters and galleries.
As part of the autumn-winter program, Rossiya plans to fly to Havana once a week on Sundays. Flight SU/FV6849 departs from Moscow at 23:45 local time, and arrives in Havana at 06:10 a.m. The return flight SU/FV6850 from Havana starts at 09:10 a.m. and ends in Moscow at 04:30 a.m. the next day.
Tickets for these flights can be purchased on the official Aeroflot website, in the mobile application of this airline, by round-the-clock phone numbers of the contact center, as well as at the airline’s own sales offices and agents. The cost of a round-trip ticket starts from about 75,000 rubles. Passengers are offered a choice between Economy and Business fares, and the Sleep+ service is also available, allowing them to book a number of seats and receive a sleep kit including a mattress, pillow and blanket.
