In 2023, foreign tourists spent $3.5 billion in Russia

According to Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, in 2023, foreign tourists in Russia spent $3.5 billion.

“The growth of foreign tourist trips in 2023 amounted to more than a million people. They brought about 3.5 billion dollars,” Interfax reports Dmitry Chernyshenko’s words.

The Deputy Prime Minister added that, in turn, Russian tourists, according to the Central Bank, spend from $30 to $ 50 billion on foreign travel.

Earlier, Dmitry Chernyshenko reported that 3.8 million foreign tourists visited Russia in 2023, and in 2024 the incoming tourist flow is expected to grow by 30%, to 5 million people.
