From August 8 to 11, the Kozhin Estate in the Lipetsk region will host the Flowers in the Manor festival, dedicated to the culture, history and traditions of Russian estates.

The event was organized by the architect restorer Ekaterina Grigorieva and the green studio KRAPIVA, whose florists will decorate the space with installations of fresh flowers. Guests will enjoy an exhibition, tea parties, concerts, curatorial tours, plein airs and creative workshops.

“Flowers in the Manor” will breathe new life into the ancient walls of the Kozhin estate and the Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which is informally called the “Garden of Eden”. The temple was supposedly built by Rastrelli or Rinaldi. Immersed in the atmosphere of the past, guests will be able to feel the importance of preserving the architectural heritage.

Visitors will be transported to the end of the XVIII century and get acquainted with the family history of the owner of the estate. Flower arrangements from the green studio KRAPIVA, surrounded by naked architecture, will tell about the unity of plants, people and buildings.

The estate will host an exhibition of works by the artist Katya Rozhkova. Every day, guests will enjoy a tea party with fragrant tea from a samovar and creative workshops from the green studio KRAPIVA and architect Alexandra Zhuravleva and decorator Elena Novoselova.
