Last weekend, the Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, during a working detour of the Primorsky District, checked how his instructions for the comprehensive landscaping of the territory on the Bolshaya Nevka Embankment from the Third Elagin Bridge to the 300th Anniversary Park of St. Petersburg were being fulfilled‑St. Petersburg.
The work on the project is carried out in several stages. The first one – putting in order a section of the embankment, opposite the house 70 on Primorsky Avenue – was completed in the summer of 2022. In 2023, the second stage of work was completed on a plot of 7,400 square meters. m – from the rescue station of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to the ZSD.
Currently, the third stage of work on complex landscaping is underway on a plot with a total area of 10 thousand square meters. m. It includes work on outdoor lighting, arrangement of paths, terrace flooring, observation decks and recreation areas, installation of sun loungers, outdoor furniture, tables with umbrellas, pergolas. The completion date is until August 15, 2024.
The last, fourth stage of the comprehensive landscaping of this territory is scheduled for 2025. The draft of the Targeted program of the regional project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” provides for the execution of works on the embankment section from the Primorets stadium to the 3rd Elagin Bridge. Stone loading of the coastline will be carried out, paths, outdoor lighting and an amphitheater will be arranged on the embankment, landscaping will be carried out, outdoor furniture will be installed.
