IPG consulting company.Estate has sold 3 industrial land plots in the Severnaya industrial zone for the construction of production and warehouse complexes for the own needs of manufacturing companies.
Three manufacturing companies became buyers. The first buyer is engaged in the production of metal painting equipment. The second is a major manufacturer of equipment for the food industry. The third buyer is a manufacturer of electronic components.
The total area of the sold plots is 4.5 hectares.
The Severnaya Industrial Zone is located in the northern part of the city, on the border of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. A good location, namely, proximity to the ring road, metro station, railway station, is a great advantage of this territory. Within the industrial zone, engineering-prepared sites are offered that are suitable for the placement of enterprises of hazard classes 4-5, there is also the possibility of building a building for the client.
Philip Chaika, Partner, Head of IPG Industrial and Warehouse Real Estate Department.Estate:
“Over the past 3-4 years, we have seen steady demand from companies in the production segment for the purchase of land plots, due to an acute shortage of high-quality supply of industrial facilities for both rent and purchase. Of course, in such conditions, there is an inevitable increase in the cost of a high-quality supply of sites with engineering training and without encumbrances. At the same time, the volume of such supply continues to decrease. In the Severnaya industrial zone, only the last 3 plots remain for sale.”
