The highway providing access to six large horticultural arrays between Myaglovo and the village of Kuzminka in the Vsevolozhsky district will be updated as part of a joint program of the Leningrad Region and St. Petersburg to repair access roads to horticulture.
The length of the repair will be almost 11 kilometers. In addition to the new asphalt, road workers will strengthen the roadsides and apply markings. Thanks to the repair, the way to the large SNTS “Chernaya Rechka”, “Krasny Oktyabr”, “Zarya”, “Niva” and “Escalator” will become more convenient. The Myaglovo – Kuzminki highway will become the 17th “country” highway, which is being repaired under a joint program of the region and the city this year.
The agreement between the Leningrad Region and St. Petersburg on the repair of access roads to horticulture was signed at the end of 2022 by the governor of the Leningrad Region, Alexander Drozdenko, and the governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov. Lenavtodor is engaged in repairs of regional highways, and municipal ones are carried out by local administrations through the mechanism of receiving subsidies from the Leningrad Region road fund.
Last year, as part of the joint program, seven roads (a total length of 26 kilometers, 109 SNTS) were updated in Tosnensky, Kirovsky, Lugsky, Vsevolozhsky, Volkhovsky and Gatchina districts.
