In the first half of 2024, about 86 thousand loans were issued for the construction of private houses in Russia, compared to 37.2 thousand for the same period in 2023.
This was announced by the Deputy General Director of Dom.RF” Alexey Nidens.
“At the same time, almost every third loan for residential housing this year was issued specifically under the Family Mortgage program. In total, since the launch of the program, more than 63 thousand Russian families have started building a private house with its help,” he noted.
According to the updated terms of the “Family Mortgage”, families with at least two minor children, one minor child under the age of 6 years inclusive or a disabled child can apply for a loan for the construction of an individual residential building and the purchase of a land plot.
At the same time, it is possible to build a house throughout Russia, but only within the framework of a shared-equity construction agreement under federal law No. 214-FZ or a contract using an escrow account.
