Luxury real estate in St. Petersburg continues to show a steady increase in the average price. Over the year, it increased by 11% and amounted to 562 thousand rubles per square meter. The largest price increase over the year was shown by the Central district – here elite real estate objects rose in price by 31% (in June 2024, the price per 1 square meter was 951 rubles).
The price per meter on Vasilyevsky Island increased by 20% and amounted to 487 thousand rubles in June this year. Next among the leaders in the rise in the price of luxury real estate are Petrogradsky district (+11%) and Moskovsky district (+10%). Their prices reached 579 thousand rubles and 567 thousand rubles per square meter, respectively.
According to the St. Petersburg Real Estate Consulting Center, 780 apartments in the elite class were sold in the 1st half of 2024, which is 2 times more than in the same period last year.
Buyers are actively taking luxury real estate in installments. In the structure of transactions of the St. Petersburg Real Estate company in 2023, the number of transactions made in installments was 58%, and in the 1st half of 2024 – 60%.
Of all the luxury properties sold, 80% were sold in the Petrogradsky district. Vasileostrovsky district is in second place by a wide margin – the share of sales here was 14%.
