The Ministry of Finance supports the completion of all preferential mortgage programs, except for family ones, within the previously designated time frame. It was decided to extend the family mortgage until 2030, Izvestia writes.
Now more than 90% of all mortgage loans in the primary market are issued on preferential terms, said a representative of the Ministry of Finance. The main reason is high rates due to the strict policy of the Central Bank. However, this trend began to take shape even before the key increase. It leads to a skew in the market, experts say.
Therefore, in the medium and long term, the task is to reduce the share of loans under preferential programs in the primary market to 25 percent.
Now in There are several preferential mortgage programs in Russia. The most popular is an 8% mortgage on new buildings, which ends on July 1, 2024. There is also a state program for IT specialists until the end of 2024. And by the end of 2030, the Far East will be at 2%.
