The first large Chinese-made cruise ship, the Adora Magic City, made 37 flights and took on board more than 150,000 tourists. This was reported by the company that operates this vessel.
Earlier this year, the ship embarked on its maiden voyage and immediately gained popularity among travelers.
On June 10, about 4,000 tourists boarded the Adora Magic City shortly after the ship docked at the Shanghai Wusunkou International Cruise Terminal on Friday.
The length of the cruise liner with a displacement of 135.5 thousand tons is 323.6 m. There are a total of 2,125 guest cabins on board, which can accommodate 5,246 passengers.
More than 1,000 Chinese and foreign manufacturers were involved in the construction of the Adora Magic City cruise liner, People’s Daily Online writes.
As previously reported by the Free Press, according to Sergey Romashkin, ATOR Vice President for Domestic Tourism, General Director of the Dolphin tour operator, the average cost of a summer tour in Sochi reaches 105 thousand rubles, while Anapa may be even more expensive — in the region of 109 thousand.
