Prabowo Subianto, who was elected President of Indonesia this year, welcomed the possibility of launching direct flights from Russia to the resort island of Bali.
The President-elect of Indonesia announced that Aeroflot can operate flights to Bali.
“We also support the possibility of direct flights operated not only by Aeroflot, but also by other airlines,” Lenta quotes him as saying.
Prabowo Subianto also said that Indonesia supports the opening of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Bali.
Earlier, Subianto announced friendly relations between the two countries.
