The Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced a record number of visitors to Antalya in the first five months of 2024. During this time, the number of foreign tourists increased by 16.26% and reached more than 3.9 million people. At the same time, Russian tourists took the first place in terms of the number of visits to Antalya, beating all other tourist flows: first of all, Germans and Britons. 

The top countries in terms of the number of tourists in the main resort province of Antalya are as follows:

1. Russia – 491.078 people.
2. Germany – 434.609 people.
3. Great Britain – 185.221 people.

The overall top three in Turkey is different: the Russians took second place, second only to Germany, but ahead of the UK. It was clarified that in May, the number of Russian tourists in Antalya increased by 26% compared to the same period last year, while the total number of visitors amounted to more than 1.8 million people.

In addition, Poland, the Netherlands, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Lithuania, Belgium, France were among the top ten countries.
