Chinese authorities have canceled visas for foreign citizens arriving on cruise ships, reports CCTV.com . Having entered the country through the maritime border as part of an organized tour group of at least two people, such travelers can stay in China for up to 15 days.
You can cross the border at one of the 13 ports located in the cities of Tianjin and Shanghai, as well as in the settlements of Dalian in Liaoning Province, Lianyungang in Jiangsu Province, Wenzhou and Zhoushan in Zhejiang Province, Xiamen in Fujian Province, Guangzhou and Shenzhen in Guangdong Province, Qingdao in Shandong Province, Beihai in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Haikou and Sanya in Hainan Province.
For visa-free entry, several conditions must be met: according to the documents, a Chinese travel company must necessarily accept a tour group, guests must spend the time between stops at these ports on a cruise liner, that is, get off at one port, travel around the country, and then they will not be able to catch up with the ship in another port on their own.
