A tourist ship burned down off the coast of the Turkish resort of Marmaris. This was announced on Sunday, July 14, RIA Novosti reported.
According to the agency, the 20-meter wooden vessel caught fire at 16:00. As a result of the emergency, four tourists were injured and taken to a local hospital. Most of the passengers managed to jump into the water from the burning watercraft in time, and some of the tourists were rescued by the crews of yachts and coast guard vessels standing nearby.
Emergency services are working on site. The causes of the emergency are being established.
