Moscow authorities have named the number of houses resettled for renovation

About 130 thousand residents of the capital have moved into new housing, another 26 thousand are in the process

Since the beginning of the renovation program, 600 houses have been resettled in Moscow, according to a message from the capital’s Urban Development Policy Complex.

According to Andrei Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning and Construction, about 130 thousand citizens have already changed their addresses, and another 26 thousand are in the process of moving to new homes.

The largest number of houses resettled under the renovation program (91) is located in the Eastern Administrative District. The second place is occupied by the South-Eastern (80 houses), the third by the Western (73 houses) JSC, the message clarifies.

A total of 5,175 houses are included in the capital’s renovation program, which houses more than 350 thousand apartments with a total area of 16.4 million square meters. The renovation program takes place in three stages: the first stage includes 2020-2024, the second stage — 2025-2028, the third stage — 2029-2032.

According to the capital’s Construction complex, in total, in March 2024, the resettlement of 6.6 thousand participants in the capital renovation program in seven districts of Moscow should begin.
