The tour operator Grand Express postponed the start of the charter program to Tunisia from Moscow for at least a month. Flights on board Nouvelair Tunisie to Monastir were supposed to begin at the end of April, but now the first departure date is June 1. Tourists, as explained TourDom.ru the representative of the tour operator, the money for the tours for April and May is returned in full. Alternatively, it is possible to rebook them for the summer months or change them for a flight from St. Petersburg. Charters will depart from the Northern Capital, as previously announced, from April 29. “The flight program has been fully approved, all necessary formalities have been complied with and permits have been received. At first, the planes will fly once every 10 days, in the summer we will switch to a different mode – twice a week,” explained the St. Petersburg office of Grand Express.
The program will last until the November holidays, but it may take a long time – it all depends on demand. For example, last summer, according to the tour operator, was successful – the boards were loaded, although it was very far from the docklike figures, when 10 flights a week were operated to Tunisia. Talking about the current interest of tourists, Grand Express noted that some time ago tourists had concerns – while the formalities for transportation were being settled – but now they book tours more actively, especially for the summer. At the same time, quite a lot of Muscovites, faced with the cancellation of the program in May, change their tickets for departure from St. Petersburg.
The cost of the tour for vacationers from St. Petersburg starts from 132 thousand rubles for two for 9 nights at the three-star Residence Boujaafar hotel in the center of Sousse. The price includes breakfast and dinner. In early June, a similar tour will cost more than 160 thousand rubles. And with the departure from Moscow, you will have to pay more than 180 thousand rubles for a vacation in the same hotel in early summer. A tour to the more comfortable Le Soleil Abou Sofiane Resort 4* with departure from St. Petersburg in June will cost 196 thousand rubles.
Recall that Russian citizens can stay in Tunisia without a visa for no more than 30 days. To enter the country, you must have a foreign passport valid for at least 3 months from the end date of the tour.
