The Russian low-cost airline will have on-board meals: what will they feed?

У российского лоукостера появится бортовое питание: чем будут кормить?

Pobeda Airlines will soon begin offering on-board meals to passengers. All flight attendants of the low-cost airline were informed in early March that the airline was preparing to launch a new service for itself. The conductors will be introduced to the range of goods and will be taught how to use terminals for payment.

Meals and hot drinks will not be included in the ticket price. It is previously known that sandwiches with chicken, ham and cheese, coffee and tea, juices, carbonated water will appear on the menu. Gradually, the range is planned to expand. At the same time, the flight attendants themselves are prohibited from eating during the flight.

Currently, the planes of the Russian low-cost airline do not have on-board power, regardless of the duration of the flight, you can only ask the flight attendants for water.

Earlier, in September last year, Dmitry Tyschuk, CEO of the company, told about the appearance of food on flights. According to him, the airline will offer packaged long-term storage products, which will save flight attendants from having to collect waste as much as possible. The top manager clarified that there will definitely be no alcohol on board, because the carrier is already experiencing problems due to rowdies. In addition, alcohol consumption will create a certain “physiological discomfort,” Tyschuk said, mentioning the loading of aircraft.

Additional services such as meals allow low-cost airlines to earn more. In particular, Pobeda received 10-15% of its total revenue from additional paid services as of autumn 2023.

Earlier Vokrugsveta.ru he told me why there are ashtrays on airplanes, despite the fact that smoking on board is the reason for an unscheduled landing and calling the police.
