The Sri Lankan authorities did not stop the program for issuing free visas to citizens of a number of countries, including Russia.
According to ATOR, with reference to the Sri Lanka visa platform, for citizens of China, India, Indonesia, Russia, Thailand, Malaysia and Japan, the exemption from e-visa payment is valid until further notice. The extension of the program of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia was confirmed by tour operators.
Previously, the visa platform contained information that this project is valid until May 31, 2024. It is clarified that there has been no official announcement from the Sri Lankan authorities on the extension of the free visa program.
If a visa to Sri Lanka becomes paid, then with all fees it will cost $ 102.5 for Russian tourists (about 9200 rubles at the current exchange rate).
