The date of the temple’s creation is the 19th century. The building is made of white limestone. Initially, the building was a domed basilica with a beautiful altar, covered arches and naves. During the Soviet era, it was converted into a Nursing home, and lost its church details. Fortunately, about 5 years ago, a lengthy restoration was carried out, thanks to which the temple regained its former appearance and opened to visitors.

30. Moynak Lake

The bottom of the lake is covered with healing mud. The reservoir was once part of the Black Sea, but later it was separated by a sand spit. People started talking about the unusual possibilities of mud back in the 19th century. In 1886, a hospital was founded here, where patients could get rid of a wide variety of diseases. By the way, it was then that the city began to gain fame as a medical resort. People from all the surrounding towns and even remote cities and countries came here.
