According to the results of the first half of the year and June 2024, Russia led the TOP countries from where the most tourists came to Antalya.
According to ATOR, with reference to Antalya Airport statistics, in June Russia took the first place in terms of arrivals with 578,695 visits (+11% compared to June 2023), followed by Germany with 352,297 visits (-3%), and Poland closes the top three with 205,101 visits (+22%).
The TOP 5 countries by arrivals to Antalya in June also included the United Kingdom – 194,943 visits (+17%) and Kazakhstan – 100,081 visits (+22%).
Experts note that the 11% increase in June is less than the increase in May 2024 to May 2023 (+25%). This is due to the fact that there was a redistribution of flows: in June, the season on the Black Sea in Russia began.
If we talk about the results of the first half of 2024, the top five are as follows:
- Russia: 1,415,659 visits (+9% compared to the first half of 2023).
- Germany: 1,322,882 visits (+12%).
- United Kingdom: 642,839 (+24%).
- Poland: 459,323 (+29%).
- Netherlands: 188,360 (+11%).
