Participants of the Clean Mountain 2024 eco-festival, which will be held on Elbrus on August 25, will hold a traditional clean-up day on the slopes of the mountain. This is reported by the press service of Kavkaz. RF.
The festival in Kabardino-Balkaria will bring together guests from different regions of the country.
The participants of the action will be given the necessary equipment and sent on mountain routes accompanied by experienced instructors and guides. The cleaning will cover the territory from the Azau clearing to the glaciers.
The festival program also includes lectures, master classes for children, a fair, an outdoor lunch, and an evening concert.
According to the Deputy Director General of Kavkaz. Russian Federation” by Rustam Tapaev, cleaning on the slopes of Elbrus has been taking place since 2018, about 1,000 people participate in it, who collect 20 tons of garbage.
