The online booking systems of air tickets have seen the best-priced offers of flights to Japan from St. Petersburg.
For example, you can travel to Tokyo by the Chinese airline Hainan Airlines on December 15, and back – on New Year’s Eve, December 28, for 45 thousand rubles, luggage is included in the fare (here and below are the availability of air tickets, prices current as of 20:00 on July 9. – Ed.). On the way, there are long transfers, lasting almost a day, in the Chinese capital, Beijing. Passengers can take advantage of visa-free transit and go out into the city, book a hotel for overnight stay.
And in autumn, Hainan Airlines is ready to take tourists from St. Petersburg to another Japanese metropolis – Osaka. Economy class tickets departing there on September 18 and back on October 15 will cost 43.1 thousand rubles, suitcase transportation is included in the price. Docking is also in Beijing, on the way to Japan – 9 hours, on the return to Russia – 13 hours.
It is relatively inexpensive to fly to Osaka for a shorter period, from September 25 to October 12. You will have to pay a little more for the ticket, 47 thousand rubles.
By the way, Osaka is a suitable starting point for excursions. 30 km away is one of the oldest cities in Japan, Nara, where there are eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
