On June 21, 2024, Iran Aseman Airlines began operating charter flights from Tehran to Vnukovo Airport on a regular basis. Flights are planned to be operated twice a month on an Airbus A340-300 aircraft with a subsequent increase in the frequency of flights.
The airport management congratulated the airline on the start of flights. The aircraft arriving from Tehran was traditionally greeted at Vnukovo Airport with a water arch.
