In Israel, the launch of a new system for issuing an electronic entry permit (ETA) has been postponed.
The implementation of the system was postponed from July 1, 2024 to January 1, 2025. This is reported by ATOR.
The date change was made at the request of the airlines, as they need more time to prepare and implement technological systems.
At the same time, the website where you can apply for an entry permit to Israel has been operating in test mode since July 1 of this year. Citizens who do not need a visa to enter Israel now can voluntarily apply for an ETA free of charge until January 1.
The ETA grants the right to stay in Israel for up to 90 days and is valid for two years. From January 1, its receipt will be paid: 25 shekels.
