And most importantly, he was driving over the speed limit, without a helmet, not taking into account lane restrictions. As DetikBali reported yesterday, the violator turned out to be a Russian citizen.
A rider crossing the road markings was captured by one of the motorists at the Denpasar exit and immediately posted a video clip on the public, commenting on it as if it were a sports race. The incident occurred on April 12 on the Bali – Mandara toll road, and the next day the police reported on the viral video.
As it turned out, the foreigner entered the highway through the Ngurah Rai gate near the international airport and allegedly did not pay the fare. The road security officers immediately set off in pursuit of the motorcyclist. Part of this race got on the viral video. Soon, the police were able to stop the rider – he turned out to be 37-year-old Ivan Alekseenko. He and his rented transport were taken to the police station.
The publication does not specify the charges against the tourist and what punishment he faces. It is known that motorcycles are allowed to drive in the right lane at a speed not exceeding 45 km/h. The cost of a single trip along the toll highway is 5 thousand Indonesian rupees (less than 30 rubles), but payment is possible only by card.
