A shark probably attacked an 11-year-old girl off the coast of the island of Oahu in Hawaii and bit her leg, the Honolulu Star-Advertiser newspaper writes, citing the emergency service.
“An eleven—year-old girl was probably bitten on the leg by a shark on the beach near (the village of) Kaava on Saturday afternoon, but she did not need hospitalization,” the newspaper quotes emergency service representatives.
According to the newspaper, according to witnesses, we are talking about a small reef shark about one meter long.
The rescue service has installed warning signs in the area.
