According to Turkish media, the first predator safari park in Turkey is opening in Gaziantep, where lions, tigers and other large predators will live in conditions as close to natural as possible.
The project, which is already called the “Turkish Serengeti”, was initiated by the Gaziantep authorities, it involves the creation of a park that will become home to more than 8,000 animals.
The safari park, located on an area of 1,500 hectares in the Burch Forest, will become part of the Gaziantep Natural Life Center, where there is already a safari park for various animals, not only predators.
In the park, you can see 17 lions freely walking around the territory. Visitors will be able to watch them from special covered buses with a capacity of up to 45 people, which will ensure their safety and comfort. In addition to lions, the safari park will be home to other large predators such as tigers, leopards and lynxes.
