Aeroflot has started operating direct scheduled flights from Moscow to the popular resort island of Bali to Denpasar Airport. Previously, regular flights between Russia and Indonesia were discontinued in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Flights are operated 2 times a week. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, the liner flies from Moscow to Denpasar: flight SU296 departs from Sheremetyevo Airport at 14:40 local time. On Wednesdays and Sundays, there is a return flight from Bali to the Russian capital: flight SU297 departs at 10:05 a.m. From October 3, it is planned to add a third weekly flight departing from Moscow on Thursdays and from Denpasar on Fridays. In this direction, passengers are served by modern wide-body Airbus A350 aircraft in a three-class cabin layout: 28 business class seats, 24 comfort class seats and 264 economy class seats. The business class has armchairs that fold out into a two-meter bed.
Tickets for these flights can be purchased on the airline’s official website, in the carrier’s mobile application, by calling the information and booking center around the clock, at Aeroflot’s own sales offices and from agents. For October, one-way tickets at the most budget fare are sold for about 47,000 rubles.
