In Sochi, the main Russian resort, bad weather is expected — showers, thunderstorms, strong winds. This is reported by the press service of the city administration.
“According to forecasters, today, on July 18, heavy rain, thunderstorms, strengthening of the south-easterly wind are expected in Sochi in places: with gusts up to 15-20 m/s,” the message says.
It is noted that the operational services of the city are working in an enhanced mode.
Guests and residents of Sochi are advised to refrain from visiting beaches and are reminded that in June several tourists drowned at the resort during a thunderstorm.
