Ski resorts in the Caucasus have opened pre-sales of seasonal ski passes for tourists for the 2024/2025 season. Right now, fans of winter entertainment can buy season tickets at the most favorable price tags. The journalist TourDom.ru I looked into the offers in more detail and saw that the price became higher on many slopes, and in some places, along with this, summer discounts were also reduced.
Arkhyz was the first to start the summer sale, back in June. This year, an adult ski pass has become 11% more expensive, and a children’s ski pass has become almost 20% more expensive. At the height of the season, they will cost 50 and 35 thousand rubles, respectively. The sale price tags started from 29 thousand and 19 thousand in June. However, unlike last year, the maximum discount was offered to tourists less – this year 30%, not 35%, as before. In August, downhill skiers can manage to reduce the cost by 20%. There are also 7 and 10-day season tickets on sale that can be used throughout the season.
Rosa Khutor started the early sale of season tickets on August 1 and attracts ski enthusiasts with a 50% discount in advertising. You can get it when buying a children’s ski pass – now you can take it for 18.1 thousand rubles instead of 36.2 thousand. But the adult seasonal is offered for 54.3 thousand, which is a quarter less than the future winter price tags.
The resort offered similar discounts for early purchases last summer. But the price tags for both children’s and adult season tickets were 10% lower. Ski passes for 3-8 days are also available. With their early booking, you can get 1-2 thousand. But two-day and daytime trips to the resort will be sold only after the opening of the season.
On Elbrus, a 35% discount is valid from August. Last year, the discount was the same, but the subscriptions themselves rose in price – by 10% for adults and by as much as 22% for children. An adult subscription will cost 35 thousand right now with a maximum season price of 55 thousand, and a children’s one starts from 23 thousand. For the first time, the resort sells fast track passes in advance. When the snow falls, you will have to pay 110 thousand, and now you can pay 70 thousand.
But at Gazprom Polyana, the summer sale is almost at last year’s price tags – the difference is only a few hundred rubles. An adult seasonal ski pass is given for 42 thousand, a children’s one for 19.6 thousand. This was achieved due to a larger discount than last summer – 30% instead of 25. Those who do not have time to prepare their skis now, but will buy a subscription before the start of the season, will understand that the adult ski pass has grown by 8% over the winter, and the children’s ski pass by 10%.
Many who plan a trip for specific dates were upset by the lack of multi-day ski passes at the sale. As the resort assured, they will be available only from the beginning of the season. “They’ve always been selling since August! Last year and previous ones took a multi–day course with a 30% discount,” ski enthusiasts are indignant.
Krasnaya Polyana starts selling seasonal ski passes on August 7. The maximum 15% discount will be valid for 2 weeks. The cost of an adult subscription for the promotion will be 50.6 thousand rubles, and for children – 25.5 thousand rubles. Last year, the discount was twice as large, and it began to take effect in the last decade of July. At the start of sales, you could take a subscription for 36 thousand rubles.
