Astana Airport has completed major repairs of the runway ahead of schedule and will resume work as usual from October 5. This was stated by the press service of the air harbor.
As previously reported, in the autumn of 2023, Kazakhstan signed an agreement with Terminals Holding Group of Companies (UAE) on cooperation in the development of Astana Airport as a multimodal hub.
The airport of the capital of Kazakhstan is the second largest in the country after Almaty, it serves aircraft of all types without limitation of take—off weight.
