TASS, citing a message from radio station Radio Köln, writes that an explosion occurred in the historical center of Cologne (federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany) this morning.
As a result, one person was injured, he was hospitalized with minor injuries. There is no information about the identity of the victim.
According to CCTV footage, an unknown man with a hood on his head put a “bag or package” at the entrance to the Vanity Club Cologne, and soon an explosion occurred there.
A police operation is underway in the city center. Law enforcement officers cordoned off the scene for several hours.
