Starting from October 31, Aeroflot launches direct flights on the St. Petersburg – Bangkok route. Regular flights to the new destination will be operated twice a week on Airbus A330 aircraft. Departure from Pulkovo airport will be carried out on Thursdays and Saturdays, return flights are scheduled for Friday and Sunday.
Residents of the northern capital have the opportunity to visit Thailand without a transfer in Moscow, which will be a significant advantage for those who seek to avoid transfers. Earlier, Aeroflot had already launched a direct flight to Phuket, which will also remain on the Pulkovo staffing table.
Earlier it was reported that Thailand plans to receive 1.9 million tourists from Russia by the end of December 2024. According to the results of the first eight months of the year, at least 1.1 million residents of our country have already visited the kingdom — and if the forecasts turn out to be correct, this figure will be a record in the entire history of Russian tourism in the kingdom, according to ATOR (Association of Tour Operators of Russia).
Thailand is traditionally considered one of the most popular destinations among Russians: The kingdom is one of the three most sought-after countries among domestic travelers. The relevance of the tours is due to the variety of cultural, gastronomic and other experiences that Thailand can offer its guests. Snow-white sandy beaches, the harsh beauty of the northern provinces or the intense rhythm of life in the metropolis: there is a vacation for every taste.
