Just a week ago, a direct flight on the same route on the same dates was offered by the national carrier for more than four times more expensive, for 465 thousand rubles.
It is possible that such a high difference in cost is explained by dynamic pricing – demand on the days of the start of sales could be very high, and online systems reacted to it by automatically increasing tariffs.
Anyway, now a direct flight is comparable in price to connecting flights. For example, traveling from Moscow to Denpasar on the same dates on Etihad Airways with a three-hour transfer to Abu Dhabi (UAE) will cost 101.7 thousand rubles, although luggage is included in the price.
