In the marketing service of the Moscow office of TAT, the growth of tourist flow is explained primarily by the fact that the seasonality of tourist trips from Russia’s migration to Thailand is now not as pronounced as before. Firstly, air carriers have made their flight programs to the kingdom year-round. For example, last summer, direct charters and regular flights to Phuket and Bangkok were flown from 14 cities of the Russian Federation.
The number of connecting flights operated by international airlines through China, airports in the Middle East and Central Asia has also increased. In addition, tour operators began to use this type of transportation more often.
