Отдых на Острове свободы может закончиться для экс-сотрудницы полиции лишением свободы

A police officer in the Moscow district of Rostokino wanted to rest in Cuba, but she could not coordinate her vacation with her superiors. The woman decided to use fake medical certificates of illness to go on a trip. However, colleagues found out about it later.

Anna had the rank of foreman. In September last year, she went to Liberty Island, providing fake papers at work about visiting a doctor on the 5th and 13th. For several months, no one in the police suspected the forgery, but in December, a representative of the Interior Ministry posted a photo of the trip on her social media page.

Anna’s colleagues noticed the publication and decided to double-check her previous sick leave. It turned out that there are many inconsistencies in the history of visiting doctors, and the certificates themselves are fictitious. As a result, the foreman was fired from the police for behavior discrediting the honor of a law enforcement officer. And six months later, in July, a criminal case was opened against the woman. For forgery of documents, she faces imprisonment for up to 2 years.

It should be noted that the practice of going “on sick leave” for the sake of rest is really used by Russians. As the subscribers of the telegram channel “Roof of the Tourist House” told, in some cases it is easier to take a few days off “for health reasons” and go to the sea. However, the employer may find out about the deception, and then the case will end not just with a reprimand, but with dismissal.
