A tourist quiz will be held in Moscow

Residents of the capital from 18 to 35 years old will have the opportunity to get to know the city from new sides by playing an intellectual quiz. 200 young residents of the capital will be able to participate in the game, applications for which will be opened on the RUSPASS industry portal.Business on August 26

      The thematic quiz will include three blocks of questions on tourism in Moscow, tourism in Russia and tourism in the world. The teams will have the opportunity to compete in seven rounds and answer 51 tourist-oriented questions. The duration of the quiz will take from 2 to 2.5 hours. According to the results of the game, three winning teams will be determined, taking the first, second and third prizes in accordance with the number of points scored. After the completion of the quiz, they will receive memorable gifts from the organizers and partners of the event.   The main purpose of the competition is to introduce the younger generation to the variety of tourist opportunities in the capital. Architectural monuments are being rapidly restored in Moscow today, new recreation and leisure areas are being created, and thematic festivals are being held. In such a rhythm, even indigenous people may miss out on interesting facts about how the hospitality industry works in their hometown. Such formats help to rediscover Moscow, therefore, in addition to the competitive part, the program includes performances by leading Moscow guides and guides. Among the guests: Alexander Usoltsev – linguist, Muscovite, two–time winner of the Moscow Government’s Guiding Star Award and author of the video blog “Walking in Moscow”, Ilya Smekalin – tour guide of the Walking in Moscow project and Daria Bulgakova – researcher at the Moscow Museum and author of books about the capital.   In addition, Arutyunova Alina Zurabovna, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Tourism of the City of Moscow, and Simakov Pavel Olegovich, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Public Relations and Youth Policy of the City of Moscow, will give a welcoming speech at the beginning of the quiz.   The quiz is organized by the Moscow City Tourism Committee and the Moscow Youth Project of the Moscow Committee of Public Relations and Youth Policy. The event is designed to support the interest of young people in the hospitality industry, as well as to inform citizens about the structure of one of the key sectors of the capital’s economy.
