According to ATOR, in the Chinese province of Yunnan, a replica of the popular Greek island of Santorini was built on the slope of Cangshan Mountain overlooking Lake Erhai.
The island has snow-white houses with blue windows, doors and roofs, narrow streets decorated with flowers, as well as panoramic views of the water.
The stylized resort covers an area of 3,700 hectares: hotels, restaurants and shops are located on its territory.
8 billion yuan (more than 1 billion euros) was spent on creating a replica of the Greek island.
