According to RIA Novosti, the Khabarovsk — Moscow flight of Aeroflot airlines landed urgently at Sheremetyevo Airport after smoke in the cabin.
The incident occurred on flight SU1719 due to the activation of the smoke sensor, which happened under one of the passenger seats in the cabin and was promptly extinguished before the liner landed.
The Airbus A350 aircraft was met by fire brigades on the tarmac.
“The landing of the aircraft at the destination was carried out in normal mode. The plane taxied to the parking lot on its own. The passengers left the aircraft in the usual manner,” the airline said.
