
The ATR-7 passenger liner of the local airline Voepass Linhas Aereas crashed in Brazil. There were 58 passengers and four crew members on board, all of them died.

The airliner crashed into one of the residential areas of the city of Vinyedu, there are no victims on the ground.
The circumstances of the incident are being investigated. So far, three main versions are being considered — weather conditions, technical malfunction and piloting error.
This plane crash was the largest in Brazil in terms of the number of victims in the last 15 years. The country has declared three days of mourning.
