“The projected passageways No. 6157 and No. 5490a in the Khoroshevsky district will become Nadezhda Troyan Street. The name of the famous scout and nurse of the partisan detachments, Hero of the Soviet Union, is also borne by a school in this area,” Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in his telegram channel.

The mayor of the capital noted that Academician Evtihiev Street appeared in the area of Vernadsky Avenue. It received this name in honor of the rector of the All-Union Correspondence Power Engineering Institute, which later became known as the Moscow Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation.

In the Basmanny district of the capital, not far from house No. 13/17 on Bolshoy Kozlovsky Lane, there is now a square of Army General A.V. Khrulev. He was the head of the rear of the Armed Forces of the USSR in 1941-1951.

Miitovsky Square, now the name of the territory in the area of Maryina grove at house No. 22 on Novosushchevskaya Street. The square is adjacent to the buildings of this higher educational institution.

The mayor of Moscow noted that these names were chosen by Muscovites themselves — the citizens voted for the names in the Active Citizen project.
